When storing in Pio, the system requires empty bin compartments within the selected bin layout. The bin layout overview reflects all empty compartments, regardless of their current task status.
Occasionally, you may notice that the bin layout overview shows multiple empty compartments, but when you attempt to store items, the app displays the message:
This occurs because the empty compartments shown are located in bins that are reserved for picking or other tasks. The “No available bins” message means there are no compartments free for storage that are not already allocated for other tasks.
To maintain workflow efficiency and avoid disrupting ongoing operations, the system will not use bins that have been prepared for picking.
