If you are trying to use the on-screen keyboard on your iPad, such as when searching for a specific product in Search mode, and it is not appearing, the issue may be related to your scanner's settings.
Try these steps to solve the issue
Step 1
Make sure you are using a scanner that is compatible with Pio: Recommended iPads, printers and scanners
Step 2
To raise or lower the on-screen keyboard on your iPad while using the recommended Socket Barcode scanner, you can double tap the power button on the scanner. You can watch a video demonstration by Socket Mobile on how to perform this: Link to Socket Mobile YouTube video.
Step 3
If this didn't help, you can try to install Socket mobile's Companion App which supports the scanner to be connected in Apple iOS Application mode: https://socketimagescdn.azureedge.net/cdn/docs/default-source/downloads/s740/documents/socketscan-s740-user-guide-en.pdf
Step 4
Restart the iPad by pressing and holding the on-off button on the iPad's outside frame. Hold the button until the 'Slide to power off' shows. Turn the iPad off, and then turn it back on again by pressing the on-off button again.
If none of the above steps resolved the issue, please feel free to reach out to Pio support for further assistance.
