System not starting when robot is powered off

If a robot is powered off on the grid and in Mode: Planner or Console, the system will refuse to start. 

Check the Logs in Customer Console

The Event Log in Customer Console can look like this when there is an offline or powered-off robot:

Check the robot's status

The system start-up requires the offline/powered-off robots to be in Parked status.

Navigate to the Customer Console Viewer and locate the robot that was powered off. Confirm the position of the robot before right-clicking the robot and selecting Mode: Parked

Double-check the position of the robot when parking it. If it has been moved around manually, the position may be lost. In this case, please connect with your support provider before starting the system.

Start the system

When the offline/powered-off robot is in Parked status, the system can be started as normal.
