If you encounter a bin in the system where the ID in the Pio app doesn't match the ID label on the bin, this can be resolved in four simple steps.
Tools required to fix the issue:
- Pio app (iPad)
- Customer Console (Service PC)
Empty the bin in Pio app
Go to Search in the Pio app and find and request the bin to port. If the bin has inventory stored inside, this has to be removed and the quantity must be changed to 0. Exit the Search flow and return to Home screen of Pio app.
For an empty bin, you can continue with the next step.
Request the bin to Port
Go to the Service PC and open the Customer Console. Select the tab Port and 'Set Port mode' to 'Open Pick'. Press the play button to the right to submit the new Port mode.
Enter the bin ID in the 'Open Bin' input field, and select the play button to the right. This will bring the bin to the open position in the Port.
Change the bin status in Console
When the empty bin is open in the Port, select 'Remove Bin'-button to mark the bin as 'Outside' the grid. As long as you are completing these steps consecutively, you don't have to remove the bin physically, it can be left in the port.
Now, 'Set Port mode' to 'Closed' in Customer Console. The bin will remain open in the port, as it is now removed from the system.
Insert bin using the Pio App
The last step is to insert the same bin, but this time with the ID on the bin label.
Switch back to the Pio app on the iPad and select 'Configure bins'.
Select the correct bin layout for the bin you are adding back to the system. If you have a scanner connected to your iPad, scan the bin label ID. You can also enter the bin ID manually by using the button in the top menu bar.
Select 'Complete session' to finish the procedure and close the port.
