Once the software integration is complete, we recommend adding test orders to Pio to perform end-to-end testing.
The end-to-end testing should include:
- Sending in test orders (via API)
- Canceling test orders
- Confirming that your shipping/downstream flows are ready
- License plates with expected barcode values
- PrintNode connection setup, if required? Integrate your Pio app with PrintNode
- ShipStation connection setup, if required? Integrate your Pio app with ShipStation
- Picking orders and confirming that your webhook subscriptions are working as expected
- and that you are reflecting order status/inventory adjustments accordingly
To access the Pio app in Prod (for Picking/Storing/Searching flows), you'll need to install it. This can be done easily in Chrome for testing, or you can begin setting up the iPads for your installation by following the steps shown here: How to install Pio app on iPad. We recommend installing the Pio app on the iPads for the best testing experience.
