Once the software integration is complete, we recommend adding test orders to Pio to perform end-to-end testing.
The end-to-end testing should include:
- Sending in test orders (via API)
- Cancelling test orders (via API)
- Confirming that your shipping/downstream flows are ready
- License plates with expected barcode values
- PrintNode connection setup, if required? Integrate your Pio app with PrintNode
- ShipStation connection setup, if required? Integrate your Pio app with ShipStation
- Picking orders and confirming that your webhook subscriptions are working as expected
- and that you are reflecting order status/inventory adjustments accordingly
To access the Pio app for Picking/Storing/Searching flows, you'll need to install it. This can be done easily in Chrome for testing (add it as a PWA to your desktop), or you can begin setting up the iPads for your installation by following the steps shown here: How to install Pio app on iPad.
