New Feature: Free up bins
The new Free up bins feature helps you clear space in your Pio grid for new inventory or seasonal updates. Currently available on demand
- Identify bins with low fill rate: 'Free up bins' spots bins where the stock is low and the expected date to empty is high
- Automated prep: add a task in the app, and the robots will prepare the bins for you
- Optimize storage: products from cleared bins can be moved into smaller compartments or shelf locations, ensuring they remain available in your inventory

New Bin waiting screen
The new waiting screen for picking includes an overview of all the order lines in the order. If the number of order lines exceeds the space on the right side, you can scroll to view all products in the order.
At the bottom of the product image, you can find the product name, the quantity to pick, and the bin layout with a highlighted compartment.
Create Orders in Pio Admin
Are you using Pio Unplugged or need to add an order fast? You can now create orders or picklists directly in the Pio app. No CSV imports or ERP/CMS integrations required.
The Create Order option enables the Pio Admin or Manager to enter a new order in the Pio app.

Import Move lists
Inventory can be moved between different storing locations in Pio using the Move feature. The move lists have been created by adding SKUs to the cart.

Login improvement
When logging in to the Pio app, a new option to reveal the password temporarily has been added. Click the eye icon in the password field to view and confirm the password on sign-in:
Skip option added for Move & Replenishment
A new skip button has been added to allow skipping products when performing move or replenish tasks.
Move from/to location updated
An improvement was added to the to and from-locations in Move. When adding products to a new Move list, the to/from fields are now blank. This ensures that the user must select a specific location before the Move is started.
License plate barcode added to picking view
When picking orders using the pick & pass picking mode, the licence plate barcode was previously only available on the complete screen. The licence plate barcode has been added to the bin waiting screen and to the picking screen to ease the picking process for pick & pass mode.
Shelf pick order overview
The shelf pick process has been simplified by skipping the original landing page and going directly to the list of all available shelf orders.
Improvements & bugfixes
Several smaller improvements to the code and design, as well as some bugfixes, are included in the latest releases of the app.
