Dashboard updates
The dashboard is updated with an improved speed graph and new sorting options for the leaderboard:
Select the 'Fullscreen' link to sort by Avg. speed, Picks, and Active time, and filter by time:
Storing 2.0
The storing flow has been untouched for a long time. This summer, quite a few changes and improvements have been added. Many of the improvements are in the code and not visible in the frontend, but here are some of the more visible changes:
- bin stays open in port when storing in multiple compartments in the same bin
- stay in the same purchase order after storing an item to this PO
- product list shows all recently stored SKUs
- only allow storing to purchase order (new org setting)
Enable product expiration date/batch using Pio x Shopify integration
The Pio x Shopify integration now supports enabling expiration dates and batches for products.
By using the predefined tags PIOBATCH and/or PIOEXPIRATION for any product in Shopify, the setting will enable the requirement to add an expiration date or a batch number when Storing items. Batch and expiration dates will also be requested and confirmed when editing quantities for items already in stock by using Search.

Create Order in Pio improvements
Both some visual and general create-order flow improvements have been added to the manual order creation in Pio Admin.
- Quantity in stock is now visibile next to the Add button
- The size has been increased for the Add product window
- Smaller visual adjustments
Order Line notes added
The Pio API now supports adding notes to individual order lines, in addition to general notes that apply to the entire order.
Order line notes show with the message icon above the bin/shelf location and quantity. If a general order note exists for the order, this will show below the order line note.
Storing by Purchase Order
Pio API Update
There has been an update to the SKU in the Pio API. Previously, the SKU was case-sensitive, but this has changed to case-insensitive.
Replenish bins in Housekeeping
The "Replenish bins" button in Housekeeping will only show when the Replenishment feature is enabled in Pio.
Improved Admin menu
The Admin menu has been improved for viewing on the iPad.
RPP API launched
We launched our new API for Robotic Piece Picking (RPP) just before the summer. More details and API documentation to be shared soon.
Bug fixes and improvements
Multiple smaller improvements and bug fixes have been released over the last few months.
Coming soon: Queue another bin when flagging issue
Flagging issues and deviations during order picking has been significantly improved over the summer. These new and enhanced features are now in the final stages and will soon be released to production. Once available, we'll announce the update directly in the Pio app.
