Replenishment is the process of restocking inventory from shelves to grid to ensure there are always enough items available in the grid.
With Pio Replenishment, you get an overview of the inventory stored as backstock on shelves, and which items need to be moved from backstock and into the grid.
This article is about the replenishment settings and adding the min/max stock levels for when the SKU needs refilling in the grid.

Enable the Replenishment list
Navigate to Pio Admin > Inventory > Replenishment. This is where you set the rules for when a SKU should be replenished.
Start with toggling on the Replenishment switch first. This enables the Replenishment feature in the Housekeeping section of the Pio App, and also adds a list called 'Shelf to grid replenishment'.
Set Replenishment rules
The 'Shelf to grid replenishment' list includes all available SKUs in the Pio app.
All SKUs in the list are pre-filled with a default minimum and maximum value of 1. To update these values, double-tap the number you want to edit and enter a new minimum or maximum level.
You can edit the list directly in the iPad app or export it to Excel for bulk updates.
NOTE
SKUs with min/max levels set to 1 will not trigger any replenishment tasks.
Minimum quantity
The minimum level defines when replenishment is triggered.
- When the grid quantity drops below the minimum level, the SKU will appear in the replenishment list.
- Replenishment will only be suggested if there is available stock in a shelf location.
Example:
If the minimum level is set to 5, the SKU will not appear for replenishment until the grid quantity is less than 5.
Maximum quantity
The maximum level defines how many items should be refilled into the grid.
- This acts as the upper limit for replenishment.
- The system will suggest refilling up to this level.
The number in the 'Delta' column will be used in the Housekeeping > Replenishment list.
Sort and filter the product list
The product list can be filtered by SKU, product name, brand and category, and sorted by any of the fields below:
Import/Export lists
The replenishment list can be edited directly in Pio Admin.
If you are going to set min/max levels for a larger number of SKUs, we recommend exporting the list as a CSV file and editing it by using Excel or similar tools, and then importing it when ready.
You will find the 'Import' and 'Export' buttons at the top of the Replenishment screen:
Remove all items from the replenishment list
The 'Remove all' option will allow you to clear the generated replenishment list. A warning message will be asked to confirm before the list is cleared.
A new replenishment list can be generated by toggling the 'Replenishment' setting off and on again.
