Provide Shopify details

In order to create your brand new Pio app instance, we need some detailed information to set up an organization and create a Pio account.

Please send the following details to support@pio.com:

• Your B2B Shopify Shop URL (example: companyb2b.myshopify.com)

• Your B2C Shopify Shop URL (example: companyb2c.myshopify.com)

• Organization Name (example: Pio company AS)

• Pio Admin email (example: firstname.lastname@company.com). This will be the email you use to access the Pio app admin account. There is normally only one admin per company in the Pio app.

Set a Pio admin account password

After you have provided us with the Shopify details, we will set up your new Pio app and create a Pio Admin account. 

When the app is up and running, the Pio admin user can create accounts for other people in the company that needs access to the Pio app (like port workers and super users). The Pio Admin account needs to be created by Pio.

Verification email

When the Pio Admin account is created, you will get an email from Pio which will allow you to access the Pio app and set a password for the admin user account.

Click the link in the welcome-email.

Note that the link expires in 24 hours!

Set a password

When clicking the link in the email, you will be prompted to set a password for the Pio app:

Install Shopify app

tools needed: this step must be done on your laptop because you must be logged in to both your Shopify and Pio app first

After you have set up your admin password for Pio, please inform us. Then we will create a custom Shopify app for you, and send you the the installation link.

After you have gotten the installation link from us, follow these steps:

1. Log in to both your Shopify store and Pio app on your laptop (URL for Pio app when using laptop: app.pio.com)

2. Click the installation link you got from us. You will be automatically directed to your Shopify store to install the Pio app

3. Click the ‘Install’ button in the bottom right corner:
   

4. Authorize the app by selecting the 'Authorize' button on the next page
   

5. This will trigger the automatic installation of the Pio app in your Shopify store, and after the process is done you will get a success message on your screen:
   

Your shop will now show up in the list of Shopify integrations in Pio app admin (Dashboard - System - Software integrations):
