Keeping your Pio system in good condition is important for safe operation, reliable performance and system uptime.
As a Pio customer, you are responsible for carrying out some basic maintenance and hardware-related tasks at your site. These tasks should always be performed by trained Super Users and, where applicable, with guidance from Pio Support or your Pio Distributor.
This article gives you an overview of these responsibilities.

Regular cleaning of hardware modules
Keeping the system clean helps maintain reliable operation and makes it easier to identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
The required maintenance cycle is at least once per year, but depending on your environment and how you use the system, you may choose to inspect these areas more frequently.
Ports
Keep the port and the workstation area as clean as possible. Vacuum the insides of the Ports and use a cloth to clean the control panel and furniture.
Grid and tracks
Top tracks (where the robots are running) must be kept clean to avoid system stops. Dust and dirt must be vacuumed from the grid tracks. For very dirty areas, use a cloth to clean the tracks.
Robots
Use a cloth to remove the dust from the robot's top cover and side sheets, and, preferably, use some compressed air to clean the track sensors. There is one sensor on each side of the robot, plus two at the front under the gripper. All track sensors are right next to the wheels.
