Keeping your shelf structure clean helps maintain an organized and efficient inventory overview. A shelf location that has been renamed or removed can be deleted in Pio. Follow the steps below to delete a shelf location.
- Navigate to Inventory Overview > Shelves in Pio Admin, and select the shelf you want to delete.
- Make sure that all inventory has been cleared from this location. When viewing the Shelf details, it should say "NO PRODUCTS AVAILABLE" on the screen and the quantity should say 0x.
- Click the three dots button next to 0x and select 'Delete shelf location'.
The history and activities logged for this location will not be deleted. You can still find the picking and storing activities for the deleted shelf location.
