The Service Tower is designed to lift robots on and off the grid. This process is required when:
- adding or removing booster robots
- swapping bots for service and maintenance
This article provides a quick overview of how to operate the Service Tower using the Control cabinet. For full details, please refer to the AutoStore Operation manual.
WARNING
Operating the Service Tower is only for certified Pio Super Users. Please contact your manager to determine who can perform these steps in your company.
Control cabinet
The control cabinet is mounted on the Service Tower wall and has an interaction panel for operating the lift and opening the doors at the bottom.
Buttons:
- Two black buttons with up/down arrows to operate the lift
- One white button to unlock the robot door and the side hatch
Signal Lights:
- Yellow light indicates a system warning
- White light indicates when the lift is ready in the top position
Power switch:
- The red power switch at the bottom is used to connect/disconnect the cabinet
NOTE
Operating the lift requires the system status to be running.
