In rare instances, you may encounter a situation where the label printer stops printing new labels when shipments are created in Pio and in Webshipper. If this occurs, there are a few things you can check.
Printer <> laptop connection
Check that the label printer is listed in the computer's Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
If you cannot find the label printer in the list, check that the USB cable is properly connected and that Bluetooth is enabled on both your laptop and the printer before attempting to add the printer again.
Outdated Printer Mappings in Webshipper integration
Printer mappings for the Webshipper integration have to be set up correctly for the labels to be printed. Currently this must be done by Pio in the Pio's database. We are currently building the UI where Pio Admins can do this themselves.
Please contact Pio Support if you need help with checking the Printer Mappings in the integration.
Wrong printer in Webshipper settings
To ensure the correct setup of the label printer for the Webshipper integration, follow these steps:
- Go to Webshipper > Connect > Order channels > Shopify > Print settings and verify that the correct workstation is connected to your Shopify order channel.
- Go to Webshipper > Print > select the workstation that is connected to the label printer. Click "Edit" in upper right corner.
- This will take you to printer overview page, where you can select the printer to use for different documents. Make sure that the chosen label printer has the same name as the one listed in your computer settings:
