The stocktake feature is located in the Housekeeping section of the Pio app. All locations outside the bins, should be counted and confirmed in Pio at least once per calendar year. Any confirmed locations will be reset by the start of the calendar year.

Navigate to Housekeeping > Stocktake from the Pio homescreen to start the stocktaking.
The first page will tell you how many shelves you have left to confirm until the end of the year.
Select locations to count
Stocktaking of shelves can be started from multiple places within the Stocktake option in the app. View the three different approaches explained below.
Count all unconfirmed locations
If you are starting a full stocktake round, hit the white 'Shelves' button to get started. It will tell you how many locations have unconfirmed quantities in stock that need to be confirmed.
Cherry-pick locations to count
Option two is to select the specific locations to stocktake. Select the 'All locations' button in the top right corner to find a list of all shelf locations. Use the 'Filter' and 'Sort by' options to prepare your list, or search for the locations with products that need to be counted.
You can also search for SKU, product name, or location name to add a selection of locations to the stocktake list.
Select 'Add' to put the location on the list, and when you are ready, tap the green button 'Stocktake XX locations'.
Scan a single location
The third option is to stocktake a single location. Bring a scanner and the iPad, and go to the designated shelf. Start by scanning the shelf location barcode and then confirm the item status for this shelf.
Confirm product quantity for location
Enter quantity
Count the products on the given location in the Pio app, and enter the quantity. You can count the items by using a hand scanner (scan each item to count), by using the +/- buttons on the screen, or by simply entering the number directly on the screen.
Confirm zero
Empty shelf locations are included in the stocktake. If the shelf is expected to be empty in Pio inventory, always visually check the shelf for products before hitting 'Confirm 0 items'.
Add products to an empty shelf location
In the case where products are found on a shelf location that is expected to be empty, you have two options: Either remove these products from the shelf or add them to the shelf location.
When stocktaking an empty shelf location, select '+ Add product' to search and find the product that needs to be added to the shelf.
After the product is added, the shelf will request to confirm the quantity for this location.
Skip location
You can always skip a location during the stock take. To do so, select the arrow icon in the top menu, next to the User account.
If you select 'Skip location', you will be asked to confirm before moving to the shelf location. The products already counted will be registered and saved in the stocktake summary.
Where to find discrepancies in stock count
Pio Admin users can log in to the Admin section and export a detailed overview of all the shelf locations and their last confirmed stock.
View history
All activities related to the stocktaking will be visible in both the product history and the shelf location history.
Reset stocktake
The stocktake status of the shelf locations will be reset every calendar year.
