Control panel location
The location of the control panel depends on your R5 robot model. On R5 robots, the control panel is located at the back of the robot. On R5.1 (Pro) robots, the control panel is located on top of the robot.
This article covers both robot models.
Robot control panel for R5 robots
The R5 robot features a control panel on the backside of the robot with the following buttons:
- Online/Offline button: puts the robot into offline or online mode
- Status light: see explanation in the next section
- Track shift button: used for shifting tracks using wheels (to manually move the robot)
- Lift control button: used for testing the lift or manually picking up bins
- Grip control button: used for testing the gripper
- Power light: indicates that the Robot engine is activated
- SF light: indicates a security fault.
Robot control panel for R5.1 (Pro) robots
The R5.1 (Pro) robot control panel is located on the top of the robot with the following buttons:
- Emergency stop: Press to cut the power to the robot
- Power button: Power on/off
- Online/Offline/Manual operation button: Sets the robot in Online/Offline mode or press and hold the Manual operation button while using one of the three action buttons (Trackshift/Lift/Gripper)
- Status light: see explanation in the next section
- Track shift button: use it to manually shift tracks for the wheels (to move the robot manually)
- Lift control button: use it to manually operate the lift (to pick up bins)
- Grip control button: use it to manually hook on/off to a bin
- SOS light: blinking light indicates an issue
Robot status lights
The status light on the robot's control panel as well as the SOS light indicates the status of the robot.
- Green: System status is OK
- Green flash: Lost contact with the controller
- Yellow: Executing command
- Yellow flash: Charging
- Yellow flash: Initializing
- Red: Lost position. Please contact your support provider if this happens.
- Red flash: A malfunction has occurred. Please contact your support provider if this happens.
