Can I exit picking in the middle of an order?

To avoid manual errors, try not to exit picking midway through an order. If you choose to exit picking in the middle of an order, you will be asked to confirm and leave the order unfulfilled.

By selecting 'Exit picking' (the exit icon in the top left corner), the open bin in the port will close, and the order will go back into the picking queue.

Mark the partly picked order

If you need to stop picking before an order is finished, make sure to label the items you’ve already picked with the order number (for example, write the order number on the cardboard box you’ve started filling).

This ensures that if another employee needs to complete the order later, they can easily locate the items you’ve already picked and packed.

Set up an "issue shelf"

Some companies use a designated shelf for orders that need follow‑up, such as those with errors or left incomplete. This makes it easier to locate and resolve problem orders. Setting up something similar in your warehouse can help reduce mistakes and keep the workflow organized..

Take over picking

The order will at some point be presented to someone who is doing picking, and they will be asked to 'Take over picking'. This means that s/he is continuing to pick an order that was started earlier.

In the takeover screen, there will be information about the order and the user who started it:

When resuming the picking of an already started order, double-check the products and quantities in the order details option.
