Order Streams help you select and prioritize the orders to pick from your Pio system. The order streams are added and configured in Pio Admin, by a Manager or Admin.

From the Pio app homescreen, tap the yellow Pick button to get started.

This opens the picking drawer showing all your enabled streams:
Each stream shows a yellow number in the lower-right corner indicating available orders, with adjacent text showing how many of the orders the robots have prepared for picking.
Streams are prioritized, with the most urgent orders listed first after 'All orders'.

Select the stream you want to start picking.
Start picking
After selecting the stream, you may be asked which location you want to pick from. The options are:
Grid - pick orders with items stored in bins in the grid
Shelf - pre-pick orders with items stored on shelf locations
Complete - pick and consolidate orders with items from both grid and shelf locations. This option is also used for completing orders with shelf-only items.
NOTE
If no orders in the selected stream contain shelf items, this step is skipped, and you’ll start picking from the grid immediately.
When you have selected where to pick the items from, the first order will be served as usual.

Default streams
In addition to the manually added streams, two additional streams are always available for picking. These are called 'All orders' and 'The rest'. These two streams are added automatically, and it is not possible to configure them.
All orders
By selecting 'All orders', you will start picking orders from all your streams. If any of the orders have shelf items, the second step will be available to select which orders you want to pick; 'Grid', 'Shelf' or 'Complete'.
Orders are picked according to the priority set for their streams.
The rest
'The rest' will catch orders that are not included in any of the manually configured streams. This stream will always be sorted last of all enabled streams in the picking drawer.
