Same SKU used for multiple order channels

It is possible to have multiple order channels connected to one Pio app. The order channels can either:

  • run as separate shops with their own product database and inventory, or
  • run as separate shops sharing the same product database and inventory

NOTE

For all API integrations with Pio, the integration must add the SKUs first.

Adding SKUs first is also required when the same SKUs already exist in Pio from another order channel. In the cases where the exact same SKU is used for multiple integrations, no duplicate SKUs will be created. Instead, the SKU in Pio will be linked to multiple order channels (integrations).
